i don’t think effy would have even had a sruggle with guys. that makes it sound like “oh tony controls her” but no i mean that effy is only “effy” when she knows tony’s there. and i think she would have had a lot more clarity in the sense that she either would have automatically known who she wanted cook wut or just seen that relationships weren’t a big deal.

1) sid was not too busy whining about cassie. that is sid’s personality. he ignores pain. he’d rather cope with some sort of white kid relationship issue than with the reality that one of his best friends just died and he could do nothing to stop it. sid doesn’t show emotion except anger. he only ever broke down in front of tony, and cried once in front of michelle. that is sid’s character. he’s not going to change his character because of chris. i think mike did an excellent job of keeping in sid’s mindset during this episode. sid would act exactly how he did in this scene- ignorant to his reality and pretending it’s ok.

2) i will give you that michelle was worrying about her relationship, but it’s remarkable how much she was there for jal throughout this whole process. i hate michelle, but you have to give her credit for that. as for tony, he tried to fucking steal chris’ casket. so just ignore that little fact why don’t you. and besides, i don’t think he was too worried about leaving michelle. it was loosing sid he was really scared of. any time sid wasn’t there for him his life turned to shit. and he knows sid won’t be there with him at uni, so he’s utterly terrified.
